Busy Busy Weekend!

This was a crazy weekend for us. So busy that I am just now sitting down to catch you all up and it is 11pm...late night for me! ;-)

Fist off, here is the picture that confirmed we are having a little boy! I finally figured out how to work the scanner! Isn't it funny how that write on it "BOY"!
Friday night:
You know you're pregnant when you drive 25 minutes away from your house to go out to eat at the Melting Pot! That's right, we drove to San Mateo to enjoy yummy melted swiss cheese, lobster and filet Mignon cooked in Coq A Vin, and bananas and strawberries dipped in milk chocolate. YUM! We had a great time and lauged alot. We were so glad we had reservations because when we got there, there was a 2 hour wait for walk ins! Could you imagine waiting 2 hours for dinner (in the suburbs at a chain restaurant!)...hahaha...No Way! Anyway, it was delish...we had a great date night!

Saturday we actually went out and tackled the crazy and overwhelming task of registering! We were at Babies R Us for what seemed like forever, but thankfully we got alot accomplished! We picked out a theme for the baby's room....it is going to be a navy blue, blue, and white nautical theme. Isn't it cute!? We didn't register for white furniture though. We picked out more of a dark brown/espresso color. Still, you can get the point from the pic.
Saturday night we went to a holiday dinner party at our realtor's house. She made a vegetarian meal so Jeff was pretty much starving when we left but we had a nice time.

Tonight we had dinner with Dale and Elaine at the Olive Garden...again outside of the city! We are really supporting chain restaurants this weekend! :-)

Dale and Elaine brought the baby his first big gift....They said Santa came early! Check it out...it's the cutest. So thoughtful of them, and I know the baby's going to love it!!!

Love the bedding! It'll look great and the darker furniture will be wonderful!
I also love the rocking horse. How fabulous! I just hope your baby boy doesn't look like this one. (We'd have to ask some questions.) :)
